Springboard Benefits

Life As A Fellow

Learn, grow, network — repeat.

As a Springboard Fellow, your two-year experience is characterized by a continuous cycle of learning and growth, all while engaging students and bringing Jewish community to life on a college campus. Dive into a vibrant atmosphere where every day is a chance to level up your skills and explore what Jewish life could be for students and yourself. It’s not just about a role; it’s about growth, Jewish identity, and building a community. The Springboard Fellowship is a place to connect with like-minded peers, mentors, and inspiring professionals who share your passion.

Through a personalized learning plan, fellows supercharge their growth. Opportunities include immersive learning, travel between the first and second years of the program, and course work with prestigious learning partners. A significant amount of funding is available to support these experiences.

Fellows deepen their professional competencies and Jewish knowledge through a series of in-person conferences and trainings, led by experienced Hillel professionals and outside facilitators. Some of the most valuable experiences are the ºÚÁÏ´«ËÍÃÅ New Professionals Institute (where fellows receive comprehensive training before heading to campus) and the Winter Immersive (where fellows participate in social- and connection-building programs with their peers). To facilitate continuous growth, each fellow is matched with a mentor who they can meet with regularly.

From Jewish learning to professional mentorship to career coaching, Springboard Fellows have multiple avenues to grow throughout their two years on campus. A vast professional network of over 1,000 Hillel professionals support fellows at every stage. Each participant is placed into an Edah, a peer support group led by a former Springboard Fellow. The group, which has 5-7 fellows, meets monthly to share their experiences on campus. Fellows also participate in monthly or bi-monthly learning sessions, led by rabbis and other Jewish figures, that correspond with their Springboard track.
